Investment from Residence Permits for Investment (ARI) more than tripled, ie by 276% yoy to € 98.2 million. Compared to the previous month (June), investment rose 34.5%. Of the total investment raised in July, 82.2 million euros correspond to the allocation of ARI through the acquisition of real estate requirement, while the remaining 16 million euros result from the granting of a visa through the capital transfer criterion, according to Lusa's accounts. Last month, 155 visas were issued, of which 141 resulting from the purchase of real estate and 14 through the transfer of capital. Of the total visas granted with the purchase of real estate, 23 were granted within the scope of the acquisition with a view to urban rehabilitation. In the first seven months of the year, the investment raised amounted to 470.5 million euros, 7% less than in the same period of 2018. In more than six and a half years - the program was launched in October 2012 - the investment accumulated until July totaled 4,720,335,259.20 euros, with the acquisition of properties totaling 4,261,767,866.59 euros. Until last July, in cumulative terms, 7,291 gold visas were granted through the purchase of real estate, of which 357 for urban rehabilitation.
